On Friday, Ocrober 22, 2010 IIB MBA Club was held. During the meeting a round table devoted to the issues of economic situations in Ukraine and perspectives of 2011 was conducted. Head of IIB Supervisory Board Oleksandr Savchenko was a moderator of the round table. Presentation of Dmytro Boyarchuk, the Executive Director of the Center for Social and Economic Rearches Case Ukraine, covered challenges of economic future of Ukraine. IIB MBA Professor Volodymyr Savchuk shared his experience and forecasts regarding global financial trand and their influence at Ukrainian economy. Both speeches raised active discussions and a lot of questions.

Upon completion of the round table informal business cocktail took place, during which the participants of the event had an opportunity to communicate and share their ideas and news.

Development of cooperation and partnership with foreign universities, business schools and international organizations is an integral part and strategic priority of IIB’s activities throughout whole IIB’s history.

October 16, 2010 MIB (Ukraine) and the University of New Brunswick (Canada) re-signed a cooperation agreement, which confirmed their intention to continue the joint program of International MBA. Graduates of this program obtain MBA degree and Diplomas of two high schools, which are recognized by both employers of Ukraine and worldwide.


The signing ceremony was attended by Alexander Savchenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of IIB, Volodymyr Zabolotny, President of IIB, Andrew Gaudes, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, University of New Brunswick, David Assad, Director of International Programs, University of New Brunswick, Olga Karpova, Vice-President for Academic Programs IIB, the fifth cohort of IMBA graduates, faculty and staff of IIB.

International MBA Program of International Institute of Business combines the highest international quality of education, confirmed by the daily practice of IIB’s teachers in the business environment of Ukraine, the accreditation of the program by the Association of MBAs, strong academic tradition of the oldest University of Canada (www.unb.ca).

On December, 12 in forth time the graduates of International MBA program gathered in the conference hall. This year among the graduates were top managers of leading Ukrainian and foreign companies: KIY AVIA, ERSTE BANK, Kyivstar, BUNGE, MILI, etc.

Volodymyr Zabolotny, IIB President, sincerely congratulated 26 graduates wishing them to posses with dignity the qualification of IIB’s Master of Business Administration which they were trying to reach for long 2 years. The President called graduates to stay in touch with each other and invited them to participate in MBA Club meetings and in other events held by IIB. Mr. Zabolotny wished success and new achievements to IMBA graduates.

Andrew Gaudes, Associate Dean, Faculty of Business Administration, University of New Brunswick, congratulated the graduates with reaching this outstanding goal. Mr. Gaudes emphasized the new status of IMBA graduates and called to remember about social duties and to do maximum possible to improve the situation in Ukraine and in the world.

Olexandr Okunev, IIB Associate Professor, instructor of Business Law and Corporate Governance, wished the graduates to remember that IIB is always open for them and the instructors are always ready to help with advice in any difficult situation. Olexandr expressed gratitude to graduates` relatives for their support and understanding. Ruslan Lemestchuk, IIB instructor of Organizational Communications, HR and Leadership, wished to make new goals and to move ahead continuously easily overcoming difficulties. Being an instructor of Leadership course, Mr. Lemestchuk reminded graduates about the importance of being a team in reaching success. Olga Karpova, IIB Acting Vice-President, congratulated the forth kohort with acquiring diplomas, wished to have a real celebration in this delightful and a little bit sad day.

Olena Korchinska, Director of KIY AVIA, spoke on behalf of students. Elena thanked the instructors, emphasized the importance and urgency of the learnt courses and the instructors` professionalism.
