Purpose of the role

  • Support Ukraine Marketing Team for seasonal and market orientated product promotions and other sales, push/pull promotional activity and actions, participation in development of the strategy
  • Ensure that particular Ukraine market needs are met to grow the Ukraine business in line with the market objectives.
  • Adapt Russian promotional plans already proven successfully for Russia with preceding analysis on profitability and suitability for Ukrainian market needs
  • Adapt the Russian operational process for promotion packs from the idea to the "ready to buy product pack", risks analysis and management,
  • Organize and supervise all operational duties and responsibilities involved until the promotional item is ready to be picked up in the distribution centres
  • Search for optimal decisions for solving promotional tasks, optimization of suggested decisions
  • Build a strong relationship with stakeholders in the Russian market.

Key Activities

Coordinate and track all projects related to all aspects of product promotions from start to completion, managing time lines and deliverables, responsible for all related communications through internal/external channels.

  • Adapt Russian promotions appropriate for the Ukraine market.
  • Work with all relevant departments as procurement, planning, forecasting, quality insurance, local marketing.
  • Responsible for price settings with regard to reach profitability objectives.
  • Ensure productivity of promotional plan.
  • Review, prepare and track all materials for approval; ensure that accurate supporting documentation is available

Longterm:

  • Development of a long-term product promotional strategy for the Ukraine market in alignment with the European and local Russian promotional strategy.

Key Qualifications Required /Prerequisites

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing), MBA is an advantage,
  • Deep knowledge of theoretical and practical Marketing and Project Management is a must
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years previous work experience required preferred as promotions planner/specialist, brand manager, product manager, private lable project manager in FMCG
  • Ideally direct selling experience and experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Profound knowledge of the Ukraine FMCG market
  • Languages: native Ukraine, fluent in written and spoken Russian and English
  • Demonstrate ability to adopt an integrated approach to marketing.
  • Demonstrate creative flair within the marketing spectrum.
  • A team oriented person not afraid to dig in and in step with actual practise is of advantage.
  • A team player, experienced in working with international and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in working with Americans, Russians, Western Europeans is an advantage.
  • Understanding and good use of MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Self-reliant, proactive and highly motivated.
  • Able to work under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Ability to travel
