Svitlana Grygorovych, Content-leader of the IIB CSR Centre, made a presentation on the  International CIS bakery industry forum, which took place on 30-31 October 2012 in Lviv.
The presentation was devoted to the benefits of conducting the social responsible business model in the food industry and the importance of baking industry participation in the events aimed at prevention of iodine deficiency. For many participants the theme of corporate social responsibility was new and aroused great interest. Members supported the idea that the use of iodized salt in bread making can become a shining example of social responsibility and it can significantly help in solving the problem of iodine deficiency in Ukraine. During the presentation, Svitlana Grygorovych also reported the results of the study "Business Social Responsibility", which was held by the IIB CSR Centre team in 2012.
