Diploma in Professional Marketing

British program Diploma in Professional Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

 

For whom:

marketers, brand managers, product managers, marketing directors, communications managers, who are interested in getting an international standard education, building careers in international and national companies in Ukraine, as well as employment abroad.

The Diploma in Professional Marketing curriculum is aimed at educating marketing professionals with at least 2 years of experience in the field and working at the operational, supervisory and management levels, in other words, for those who wish to improve their knowledge and develop skills to succeed and increase their career potential in marketing.

 

Program format:

The structure of the program allows to combine job and learning and reach a new level of professionalism in 1 year.

Classes are held online once every 2 weeks (Saturday, Sunday) from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Diploma in Professional Marketing program consists of 4 modules.

Graduation Document: Diploma of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing gives Diploma in electronic format. A printed copy (with seals and signatures) can be ordered additionally and received by post or at a graduation ceremony in the UK.

In order to receive a diploma, the student must finish and successfully pass final exam for each of the four modules of the program. If the student chooses to listen to only one of the four modules, he/she is awarded the Award (certificate equivalent) upon receiving a positive evaluation for the post-module qualification.

CIM Level 6 Award in Strategy and Planning 

Strategic planning is an essential skill for Marketing Managers, and empowers them to make informed decisions, optimise resources, and drive the organisation towards its goals in a competitive and dynamic marketing environment. The plan itself ensures the marketing department works together to achieve a common goal and gives direction to supporting activities. This module aims to equip candidates with advanced knowledge and skills in planning marketing at a strategic level, as well as developing the overall marketing plan.

  • Explain the organisation’s mission, vision and purpose.
  • Analyse the factors that drive the organisation’s strategic direction and priorities.
  • Prepare an audit of the marketing environment .
  • Apply a range of online and offline marketing environmental analytical models, frameworks and techniques to generate insights.
  • Summarise the findings of the marketing audit to inform the marketing plan.
  • Evaluate a range of strategic marketing options to deliver organisational objectives.
  • Develop a range of justifiable marketing objectives relevant to organisational objectives.
  • Prepare a marketing plan to deliver the marketing objectives.
  • Analyse the resources needed to implement the marketing plan.
  • Assess the options for resource improvements.
  • Justify the structure of a persuasive business case to meet resource needs.
  • Develop a timed action plan to meet objectives.
  • Recommend appropriate control mechanisms to measure and monitor progress in delivery of the plan.

CIM Level 6 Award in Commercial Intelligence 

This module will allow candidates to emerge equipped with a deeper comprehension of the commercial environment in which marketing exists, building confidence of working with key metrics, financial, resource and marketing based, to unlock insights, build strategic budgets, optimise marketing performance and deliver return on marketing investment (ROMI). Understanding how to interpret and apply the data to support strategic decisions around resource allocation to deliver commercial effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Determine financial metrics to understand marketing’s contribution to an organisation’s commercial performance.
  • Interpret data to uncover customer behaviour across segments.
  • Analyse data and relevant insights to support efficient use of resources.
  • Assess the management of resources required to deliver the marketing objectives.
  • Explain budgets based on financial metrics.
  • Recommend forecasting techniques to inform and manage future budget.
  • Prioritise marketing expenditure to deliver marketing objectives.

CIM Level 6 Award in Customer Journey Optimisation 

This module provides a strategic framework to understand how to evaluate the stages in the customer journey and identify a data-led approach to achieve seamless customised journeys delivering customer satisfaction, loyalty and advocacy. The module will allow candidates to emerge equipped with a deeper comprehension of the customer journey and the methodologies necessary to optimise meaningful connections with their audiences.

  • Demonstrate the steps involved in creating an integrated customer journey map.
  • Explain the process of selecting, analysing and applying appropriate and robust data and insights.
  • Reflect on the customer journey audit to identify painpoints.
  • Explain how to utilise patterns and trends in the data.
  • Recommend metrics to measure proposed improvements.

CIM Level 6 Award in AI Marketing 

As AI technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, this module will enable you to respond effectively to developments and understand their application to marketing. It provides strategic insights to the impact of AI within the business environment and the resources required to implement AI technologies. Candidates will gain the knowledge and skills for suitable planning to respond to AI developments.

  • Define the key concepts of AI.
  • Explain how data contributes to AI.
  • Analyse the benefits of AI.
  • Define the skills required to implement AI.
  • Recommend tools to apply AI in the marketing function.
  • Explain the stages of implementation of AI in a current marketing plan to meet objectives.
  • Assess the impact of the implementation of AI on the marketing function.

Tuition fee:

Full cost of the program Diploma in Professional Marketing (4 modules) in 2024/2025 is = 3850 pounds sterling - education + administrative expenses 745 - 790 pounds sterling.

Option to purchase one module: 1100 pounds sterling + 260 pounds sterling administration costs.

A registration fee of 250 pounds sterling (included in the course fee) is paid after the contract is signed. Payment of the remaining amount is made in equal installments, and is carried out according to the schedule agreed by the contract (monthly installments), in UAH at the NBU rate on the day of payment.

  • Bachelor's, Master's Degree, preferably in Economics
  • experience in marketing for at least 2 years minimum
  • level of English proficiency is upper-intermediate and higher.
