Financial Management Center

The core purpose of this centre activity is to be a leader in the sphere of business-finance education at the international level by providing highly professional and innovative programs in areas of corporate finance, accounting and controlling. This subsequently gives our clients, the leaders in Ukrainian business, a competitive advantage in the business world.

The Centre for Financial Management Development deals primarily with the following areas: finance and investment management, accounting and controlling, quantitative methods and informational technologies in finance. The Centre team consists of highly professional instructors, consultants, and leaders in specialized areas of Ukrainian business-education.

There are four main areas of the Centre’s activity:

• strive to satisfy the different interests of business leaders in areas of corporate finance, accounting and controlling. We always do our utmost to satisfy our clients and increase their competitiveness.

• prepare financial educational programs of the highest quality by studying worldwide practices, learning from experiences of companies in Ukraine, developing individual works and performing research. The unique advantage of the Centre is its highly qualified team of professionals.

• have a long-term outlook for the design of our programs. We are strengthening and expanding contacts with Ukrainian and foreign colleagues and partners. This is done to maintain productive cooperation and support for our programs and also to uphold a high status of our Centre and the IIB at the international level.

• Satisfy continually the interests of our founders, investors and sponsors.

The central aim of the majority of the Centre programs is to increase the competitive advantages for the companies of clients, and, above all, to create competent financial systems for businesses on the basis of maximizing value.

 

Centre is committed for the implementation of the following:

• Creating and supporting the highest educational and professional standards in the spheres of corporate finance, accounting and controlling;

• Informational as well as consultative support of managers, which is focused on developing necessary changes in the financial governance systems of their companies;

• Expert and professional support of instructors, business-trainers and consultants all over Ukraine;

• Development of contacts with small and medium sized businesses, financial institutions, international partners and members of the stock market;

• Creating in Ukraine a professional basis from which to introduce competitive systems of management and controlling.

 

One of the strategic focuses of the activities of this centre is the development of financial management and controlling in Ukraine. Controlling allows for the development of an integrated system of governance for a business, which is made possible due the appearance of new methods and instruments of accomplishing this.

Based on CFMD competencies and resources, the Institute presents in Ukraine an internationally recognized qualification of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Introducing CIMA qualification at IIB reflects more than 12 years of experience in the field of financial management. CFMD offers to its clients high-quality and flexible program which is designed to efficiently help students in obtaining CIMA qualification and develop their careers.
