Olga recalled the students on their essays that they wrote when starting the program. Almost two years passed as one moment, in spite of a big load. Analyzing the previous dreams and hopes, everyone may come back from the past to present moment and to thank oneself for the big efforts that were needed to absorb the knowledge and science and to transform it – with the help of professors and instructors – to own practice.
Professor Vladimir Savchuk in his welcome message pointed out that the new contemporary époque was coming, when the way to success was not going anymore through the forces, resources, technology and information. "Namely, capability to innovations and rapid changes represent a way to success for you, our graduates. And many of you found this capability in yourselves and demonstrated it at IIB".
Maksim Bugriy, honorable guest of the ceremony, MBA graduate, one of the leaders of the National Institute of Strategic Researches under the President of Ukraine, congratulated the graduates and their relatives, and spoke about the reasons to get MBA degree in Ukraine. He presented our state as a big corporation, where MBA graduates, receiving necessary knowledge on key business directions, would be able to lead business and country in whole to the international level.
The ceremony was continued by the message of Vladimir Gryshchak, course leader, who warmly thanked the instructors who supported and directed the program participants during the whole period of study. Vladimir told that he found many good friends at the Institute, that is usually not easy in the adult life.
Ludmila Pachenko, Program manager, greeted the graduates and, especially, their relatives and family members. Their support and help were very important, providing reliable back areas during these two years. It was also a big pleasure to see the youngest guests at the ceremonies. During the period of study some of the students became mothers, fathers and young grand-mothers.
It became traditional to give the prizes to the best graduates. According to study results at the program Executive MBA 2009-2011, the following students were awarded with the prizes: Yuri Landgraf ( Global Logic), Oksana Velychko ( KIY), Irina Oleynikova (Donbass Arena), Vladimir Gyshchak ( MCT).
The presentation of the film " IIB. Is there any life after diploma?", made by the students themselves, capturing the days of study, classes, group discussions, funny holidays, recalled the graduates the best moments of their student life.
The ceremony was closed by Lidia Pashchuk, Head of IIB Alumni office, who said: "We congratulate the 9th cohort of graduates of this program on the beginning of the new stage of their professional life. We wish them to come back, as often as possible, for new aspiration and new conquests, to the business school that became home for them during these two years. We always will be partners with you in realization of new common projects".
This year the graduates of the program were the owners and top-managers of leading Ukrainian and foreign companies: Dniproenergo, Ashan Russia, Metro Cash and Carry Ukraine, Global Logic, KIY, Donbass Arena, Metinvest, Technoton, Alfa-insurance, Investservice, ProfiMedia etc. Now the list of IIB’s MBA alumni became longer.
