The International Institute of Business was established in 1993 as the International Center of Privatization, Investments and Management (ICPIM). It was founded as a non-profit, independent training and educational institution by the Academy of Public Administration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in cooperation with the Central European University Fund in accordance with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 22, 1993. The goal of IIB’s creation was to establish a Ukrainian educational institution which would facilitate economic reform in Ukraine through the provision of educational services in the field of business. In 2003 IIB celebrates its 10-year jubilee.
Nowadays the key advantages of IIB are:
• unique experiences in conducting training programs on public administration and business management;
• leading Ukrainian professors and practitioners with substantial work experience, who studied and worked in professional internships at Western universities;
• the use of modern methodology and materials from famous Western European and North American schools;
• a combination of latest theoretical concepts and leading training techniques during the training process;
• modern facilities (computer classes, Internet, equipment for presentations, Canadian business resource center, comfortable classrooms).
