The issue of reformation needs and ways of Ukrainian legislation changes was discussed on the event.

Alexandr Savchenko, Head of IIB Supervisory Board, was moderator of the round table.

 

The following questions were discussed on the event:

1). The need for qualitative improvement of bankruptcy legislation and amending the Law on reinstatement of debtor’s paying capacity or declaring him bankrupt, dated 14 May, 1992 №2343-ХII.

2). Working out personal bankruptcy conception.

3). Reforming mechanism of commercial banking failure by supporting the transfer of program on exoneration and/or banks liquidation from National Bank of Ukraine to Deposit Guarantee Fund.

The participants:

Ukraine People’s Deputies, representatives of Ukraine Ministries, representatives of State Committee of Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, offices of international financial organizations in Ukraine, including World Bank, International Financial Corporation, USAID, leading international legal companies, leading Ukraine mass media – Zerkalo Nedeli, Ekonomicheskiye Izvestiya, GTZ, commercial banks of Ukraine, and other organizations as well as Ukrainian public figures.
