Years of studying flew by unnoticeably and the graduates of Ukrainian Program for Business Administration, Professional Diploma and Professional Postgraduate Diploma Programs of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Advanced Diploma of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Advanced Certificate and Diploma of The Chartered Institute Of Public Relations (CIPR) gathered in the conference hall of a new building of International Institute of Business for a solemn ceremony of graduation.

Dr. Alexander Mertens, IIB President opened the ceremony congratulating the graduates with successful graduation of the programs, wishing not to stop on the succeed and to continue moving ahead.

 

Mrs. Margaret Jack, Director of British Council, attended the Ceremony in capacity of honorable guest of the Ceremony. In her welcome address, Margaret emphasized the importance of availability in Ukraine of British qualification programs. She mentioned "I am impressed by your vision and commitment to deliver education that creates value for individuals, companies and for society and is relevant to the needs of a knowledge –based economy that fosters creativity and innovation."

Myroslaw Kohut, MCIPR, Academic Head of the CIPR program, in his welcome address to graduates mentioned that" We now greet you as professional colleagues. I know that being professional is more than a designation. It is a way of life. As professionals, you need to know who you are and be secure in that knowledge. If you are a Ukrainian citizen, be Ukraionian. Be proud of who you are and the history of your nation." Myroslaw wished the graduates to reach new goals, and to implement the highest standards of PR.

Nataliya Pysarenko, Nataliya Krasnik, Alexandra Kostyuk, Olga Paschuk, Vyacheslav Chernyahovskiy devoted nice words to the graduates and wished them to move on freely and not to forget the institute which can become a reliable partner to fulfill new and interesting projects.

Mihail Sumovskiy, graduate of UPBA, said words of gratitude to faculty members for acquired knowledge and support given students while studying, he also noticed the importance of both theoretical and practical exercises, team work and the opportunity to systematize knowledge and experience received in the process of practical activity.

In addition to diplomas, the graduates were presented with gifts for the best academic achievements shown on the program.

PR-director of Ekonomika publishers, Vitaliy Maksimov, presented annual subscription for a magazine Business Spotlight. In constant columns of the magazine the useful information is presented concerning the improvement of such communicative skills as: conducting telephone negotiations, documentation compiling (contacts, invoices, CVs, etc.), business correspondence, conducting presentations and negotiations.

Balance Business Books publishers, specialized on high quality business literature presented such books: Management for all times: Examples of successful management from the history of Great Britain: Cromwell – present days (K. Alan, B. John) and It’s your turn! (S. Maxi, J. Bremer).

IIB sincerely congratulates the graduates of 2009 of UPBA, CIM, CIMA, CIPR programs and wishes, quoting Slobodyan Nataliya, the graduate of CIM PPD: "Be the First. If not the First – be the best"!
