The World MBA Tour, the world’s largest international series of business school information fairs, comes to Kiev on Wednesday 11 October, offering over €2.1 million in exclusive scholarships to visitors of the fair. After the first World MBA Tour in Kiev in 2005, only 14 applicants came from Ukraine. In 2006 QS offers more scholarships (€2.1 m instead of €1.3 m) and seeks bright Ukrainians to win.
The World MBA Tour is the primary recruitment tool for the world’s leading business schools, and has been touring the globe now for twelve years. This Fall more than 160 international business schools will be visiting Europe. Over 50 of them will come to Kiev.
The Kiev World MBA fair, which will take place at the Hotel Rus, gives prospective MBA candidates the opportunity to meet with business school admissions officers from around the world. American schools participating in the tour include Wharton, Columbia, Chicago and Haas; European schools include Instituto de Empresa, ESADE, MIP-Politecnico di Milano, IMD and many more.
Visitors will be able to obtain information on school programme content, costs, program duration, financial aid and post-qualification career options. In addition, future MBA students will also be able to gain crucial information regarding the admissions process, including tips for preparing a winning application and a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) preparation seminar. A professor from the European School of Management and Technology, Germany, will run an MBA MasterClass for those who want to taste what real MBA life is like.
