Dear IIB alumni, graduates and students!

We are pleased to invite you to attend traditional annual alumni meeting which is scheduled to be heldon the 5th of April at 12.00.



 

On March 5 – 7 2008 Ekaterina Novotarskaya, programs manager of the International Institute of Business, took part in the Program Management Seminar.

Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) acted as the seminar’s organizer. The seminar took its place in the CEEMAN headquarters, in the city of Bled, Slovenia.

 

The International Institute of Business will act as an educational partner of the First Ukrainian Forum of Marketing Directors that is taking place on March 20 – 21 in Kyiv (hotel "Premier Palace").

The forum of marketing directors is a unique possibility to become familiarized with groundwork of leading Ukrainian and foreign companies, to acquire information concerning new consumer and product trends, domestic and world market tendencies, and to exchange experience with colleagues beforehand.

 

On March 3rd, 2008 in the premises of the International Institute of Business took place a launch of the project "PR-Ukraine. Growth in PR" initiated by the youth organization AIESEC and focused on the strategic improvement of PR quality in Ukraine by means of the foreign experience involvement and education of new generation of PR professionals.

The International Institute of Business, Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) accredited study center in Ukraine, have supported youth initiative and acted as a promoting partner of the project.

 

On February 28 within international exhibition of gifts and décor "The world of gifts 2008" took its place the conference "Business as a gift" covering pressing issues of company business organization on the gift market.

 

On February 28 Alexander Mertens, the President of the International Institute of Business, spoke at the presentation of season of the Global Management Challenge 2008 that took its place in the conference hall of "Incom" corporation.

In his speech he indicated the necessity of such events conducting with an objective of increasing both individual performance and teamwork.

The issues of innovation technologies of HR area and original approaches to personnel education and development were also examined during this discussion.

This interesting meeting gathered more than 160 professionals in the area of human talents management, marketing directors and chief executive officers.

 

On February 28, the regular meeting of Business Management Education and Training Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine took its place.



 

The event was organized by the Ukraine Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors, and Business Education Alliance. There were discussed problems and peculiarities of professional financiers developing.

Natalya Krasnik, Professor of Finance, Academic Chair of CIMA and GMCC Program and Tetyana Pokamistova, CIMA Programs specialist attended the conference representing IIB.

Professor Natalya Krasnic made a presentation on the theme "Changing of the financial director’s role and approaches to professional studying".

 

 

The purpose of her visit was to conduct the reaccreditation of CIPR Programs at IIB and to hold the training on grading for tutors.

On February 15th issues devoted to the accreditation process were held. The Chair of Examiners met with the President of the International Institute of Business – Alexander Mertens, Head of the Academic Programs Department – Olga Karpova and Academic Chair of CIPR Programs at IIB – Myroslaw Kohut. In the frameworks of this meeting further development of CIPR Programs at IIB was discussed.



 

    XXI Century and the International Institute of Business are set to found the first Ukrainian Real Estate Development Centre. The Centre will provide high-quality education and research facilities for the real estate development and management sector.

    As well as this, two courses at the Centre are being sponsored by XXI Century, one in Development and Real Estate Management and an internationally accredited MBA course in Real Estate Development. These courses have been created due to the great demand for professionals to work on developing the Ukrainian real estate and construction markets. Until now there was no university that could provide international standard training for specialists in this sphere.
